Sun Up promises an "Alternative Fashion" to the more contemporary and bubble-gum color schemes brands like Clover offer. Their styles are influenced by popular music culture and other more off-beat aesthetics, as well as more casual every-day wear like denim jeans and comfy sneakers. Their biggest brand identity pieces are ball caps, pins, and their Iconic and Exclusive sneaker brand Sunset. They encourage their patrons to get loud! in what they wear and what they do.

As a sponsor, they encourage boisterousness and camaraderie, even with other Brand Divers. Divers of Sun Up share their flair (collectable pins) with each other and even with those outside the Brand. Sun Up Divers are often musicians or are musically inclined, and some are just as likely to challenge you to a rap battle as they are a duel.

Brand Deal

You can Pursue a Brand Deal with Sun Up if you meet one of the following criteria:

• Are a musician or performer, and drop a sick mix-tape at the office
• get involved with the pin-trading community.

A Brand Deal with Sun Up is meant to teach you something from the very beginning. Rather than testing the waters or getting to know you, Sun Up will test you by putting you in situations where you can show your stuff and work the crowd. You'll have opportunities to guest star on pod-cast episodes, be a guest announcer at Exhibition Matches, maybe even do back-up vocals on albums that are being worked on - and compensated accordingly. You're not just trying to prove to Sun Up that you're cut out for their particular brand of flair, they're also trying to prove to you that you're more gifted than you think you are.

You can trust Sun Up to invest in you as much as you invest in them, as such, they do expect you to do the same for others. There is Grandstanding and there is stealing the show, and you're liable to get dismissed if you make everything about you and steal others' spotlight. Schedules and appearances can be fairly demanding for a Diver in the Sun Up brand deal as well, as Exhibition Matches can be spontaneous and organizing Podcasts and record deals can be time-consuming. You may find you spend a lot of time hanging around the studio for one reason or another - but there's always a lively and fun atmosphere, so maybe it's not so bad.

Brand Move: Let me introduce you...

When you try to put the spotlight on your ally's skills or talents, describe your intention and then roll + Friendship:
On a 10+, You successfully shift the focus to your friend. Describe how you make them the center of attention.
On a 7-9, your attempt to put the spotlight on you pal didn't have quite the desired effect. Pick one:

• They gain people's attention, but for reasons you didn't intend; describe what has distracted from the talents you meant to spotlight.
• You also drew attention from an unintended party. The judge describes how this complicates matters.

On a 6 or lower, you just come off looking like a fool. Gain a Baggage.

Rivalry

Sun Up is actively anti-rivalry. They run a podcast called Diamond City Tribunal where they interview members of all the different Brands and companies, keeping their viewers informed on the goings-on in the Diver world. A Sun Up representative almost always acts as an announcer at the Exhibition Matches, and they have even been called upon to help mediate disputes between brands when it is necessary.

Diamond City Tribunal

Winn Allen Hosts the Diamond City Tribunal once a week. It's a podcast by Divers, for Divers. He interviews Brands and companies, Divers and even fans sometimes. The topic of discussion is always the Dueling world and what's happening inside it. Drama, Intrigue, and statistics, you name it. The Tribunal is a frequent proving ground for potential Sun Up Divers, gauging either their ability to interview, or their reaction to being interviewed. Every now and again he says it's one thing, and then turns it into the other. Just for a bit of fun.
