Gnome

Much like goblins, gnomes did not enter Diadamel until the war between The Three and the demonic invasion. Deeply in tune with fey magic and great thinkers, the demons took a great number of gnomes from their home realm and used them to design magically infused weaponry. For many years the demons chased after The Three, and then they located Diadamel and plotted their assault.   Initially thought to be evil, the elves witnessed firsthand what the gnomes were subjected to. Rather than eradicate those that had come through the portals, the elves decided that they should be freed from demonic control and allowed to live out their days. True liberation did come at a cost though. They lacked the power or ability go go home to their native realm. Soon the first gnomes of Diadamel were born and the race flourished quite vibrantly.   Those with the predisposition towards metals and a love of engineering work closely with the mining tribes of dwarves. Some gnomes prefer a simple lifestyle and have farms, others enjoy being nomadic bards. Great things often come from these small creatures so you should never be surprised when one does something miraculous.
