Nabi Zarie
Nabi Zarie
Nabi Zarie is a central figure in the history and theology of the Ascetics. According to the foundational texts of the religion, Zarie was among the earliest followers of Etrmur and played a pivotal role in the development of the Ascetic faith. Her teachings and writings served as a model for subsequent generations of Ascetics, and her memory is still celebrated in annual festivals and through the veneration of her relics. However, modern historians cannot agree on whether Zarie was a real person or a mythical figure created to lend authority to the Ascetic religion. Despite this uncertainty, Zarie remains an important symbol of the Ascetic faith, representing the ideals of self-denial, devotion, and faith in the ultimate justice of Etrmur.
