The Tormented Forged of d'Cannith Merrix Senior

Early on, Lead Design offered the party a chance at a job, hunting down a number of forged that had been subjected to various forms of alchemical and artificing experimentation. When Spark and Relic came back to discuss the job, Lead provided them with a dossier they said their employer had received in a trade with Valenar for some Aerani imports. The Tairndel of Valenar had conducted raids on Cyre throughout the latter half of the war, and on a few occasions they struck Cannith facilities. One of those raids, about eight years ago, recovered a cache of documents, which eventually made their way to Perion's and then Lead's hands. Perion had suggested Lead find them and bring them forward to embarrass House Cannith, even offering a safe place for them to hide and seek care while pressing their case in the papers.   However, eight of the tormented forged had likely been possessed by the Children of the Last Wish, the spirits created to keep the Last Wish happy in its isolation, but who went mad when the Last Wish became corrupted by Fu Leng and the Shadowlands.   Within the sheaf of paperwork passed to Relic and Spark were the following notes:   Experiment 1

  Each set of papers had a few diagrams included, showing how these forged's designs had been tweaked to investigate various curiosities of the artificer who made them. Each of them showed a chunk of sigil missing.
