Tairnadal

The Tairnadal of Valenar are devoted to living the paths of their ancestors, recreating the cycles of history to keep the wheel of the world turning. Millennia ago, Aerani elves settled in the region, but quickly came into conflict with the outstretched arms of the Dhakaani Empire. They would later abandon their colony when the dragons invaded Aeranal, but some remained behind, preserving the traditions that had brought them to this new land. Emperor Galifar I's superior numbers convinced the Tairnadal to join the empire, but they were never formally conquered, and their lands remained unceded until they declared formal independence from Cyre in 956 Y.K.
