Modern Galifar Calendar

The Modern Galifar Calendar was instituted during the reign of King Galifar the Dark, grandson of Galifar I and third ruler of Galifar. The days of the week are named for the emblems of his grandfather's children's coats of arms, from which the Five Nations would later derive their heraldic standards. The sixth day is named for Thronehold, the seat of empire.
