The Pneumatics Secret Origins
Apologies, this might all need to change a bit.
The main Protagonists come from a dimension that was directly linked to a person's mind on a version of Earth not unlike our own. Sadly, though while what was supposed to be another day for said protags a portal opened somehow from a third dimension, apparently separating the link between the two dimensions just mentioned, Causing the Protagonists to be separated from the only world they really knew. With this in mind, the Protags now have to come up in a world that they don't know, while also not having the bind to the mind of the person they've lived their whole lives being. These Protags, thirteen in total, they are all defined with certain personalities, traits, and attributes (along with colors, but those don't really matter outside of any pictures I plan on drawing.). Maybe one may be great at being creative or a mixture of laziness and concentration, but they all were connected to one person at one point, think like Disney's Inside Out but attributes and pseudo alternate personalities besides emotions. An extension I wrote originally planning to be Prota's Personal History but ended up going into their origins before the events of S.P.A.R.K:
Prota was born mostly from Amp’d and partially from Tox Being incepted from the two, meant he likely had something to do with creativity and concentration, lending from Tox and Amp’d. Over just a matter of days Prota would sing his heart away to tunes they would find throughout the day, wherever they heard it, on the phone, in commercials, or in class. This soon gave an answer to Prota’s purpose. He was a Performer and showed that Widow had a love for singing, acting, and playing music, that hadn’t yet fully shown itself. Prota also showed a soft side, a side of empathy and openness that many Pneumatics didn’t share. Eventually Widow would get his hands on a guitar and keyboard, Prota would dedicate a lot of time when he had control to playing them, showing many of the other Pneumatics how to play an array of other instruments such as drums, pianos, and brass. His love for music grew to envelope the Pneumatics’ personal culture, as they’d play along in Widow’s head, following his day like a Mariachi band. When the Pneumatics were discovered by The United Empire, Prota would initially spend the days they spent imprisoned, creating instruments, and practicing on them as the days went by, it broke his heart to be away from his brothers, especially Amp’d and Newell. Eventually though after a few weeks passing, the Mayor of Depthopolis, Quetztake Yang, overruled some of the Empires Laws on unregulated species and released them and allowed for them to roam Depthopolis freely, trying to get them to work for his new Depthopolis Terrorist Defensive Department. As tests went down to assess the Pneumatics combat abilities, they were given some time to observe the city, an incentive given by Mayor Yang to alleviate some of the stress of their short solitary imprisonment. Prota was glad to see that his brothers were all still alive. There were experiments carried out that had some of the Pneumatics tested on in pairs, but to be able to see each other all at once again gave comfort to him. Although one of them just wasn’t the same, Newell, who was tied to a religious, Christianity mindset, which made him even more upbeat on average than Prota or any other Pneumatic. After what happened though, the sudden shift from knowing that his reality was the only reality God had made, and his striking sense that it started to all mean nothing got to him, he wouldn’t talk with any of his brothers anymore he only sat in his room, undisturbed, because his brothers were fearful. They had never seen Newell like this, Prota’s heart ached for his brother’s recovery, but as Newell’s depression lingered on, so did the tests, which were judged by the new Secretary of Terrorist Defense Measures, Expelt Jagal, Jagal was heavily demanding of the Pneumatics, giving them tasks that could’ve been easily deadly to many other species. All the Pneumatics attended these tests though, except for one, Newell. Jagal never forced their participation, probably due to the fear he had of confronting this new species face to face. Because of his absence though, Jagal became very against his inclusion, fearing that he may just be too much of a wild card if he never gets tested first, especially cause the Pneumatics proclaimed he had mental trouble at the time. This did not sway his final verdict, Mayor yang was definitely disappointed in Newell’s Ineptitude, but ultimately, he had to be let go, in the confrontation of this decision reaching the rest of the Pneumatics, one more was let go by Jagal. This destroyed The Pneumatics emotionally, but before things went awry that night Newell stepped up and pleaded that they stay strong, Newell had hardly spoken since their discovery, but that only made it linger in his brothers’ hearts more. Distraught, they all banded together and stuck with it for the time.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
