Overview
A city the size of Shidon requires an incredible amount of resources in order to prosper. The two ports on the western coast act as access points for incredible amount of imports and exports. Many centuries ago the southern was chosen as the main industrial port for larger resources such as lumber, stone, and other bulk goods. Due to the size of the imports there wasn't much extra room to build industry in the district, leaving the Southern Dock District to be dedicated to storage and transport of these goods.
First Arrival:
The stench of seaweed and salt mix together with the runoff of the ocean waves along this industrial port. The warehouses around you house resources and materials by the ton and are transferred throughout the city from here. You see mostly deckhands and day laborers throughout the district pulling large containers and bundles off ships and moving them in a factory like manner. There is a distinct thickness in the air as the humidity of the bay culminates around this southern edge of the city.In The District
