Those capable of harnessing their most potent emotions unlock a myriad of extraordinary abilities. Barbarians, in particular, have honed their skills to channel their fury into raw strength. Defying pain and unleashing devastating devastation, this class revolves around pushing one's physical limits to unleash ferocious and often overwhelming attacks while shrugging off incoming blows. Such training is typically found in more traditional and culturally rooted regions, rather than bustling metropolises where the untamed rage of Barbarians could raise concerns in crowded spaces. These mighty warriors are driven by the pursuit of attaining unrivaled strength within their group. Occasionally, this raging fire stems from a profound event in their lives, directing their wrath with a more personal intensity. To those who find themselves in the crosshairs of a Barbarian's fury, brace yourself for an intense and harrowing encounter. Barbarians are commonly independent individuals. Due to their rage they can find it difficult to connect with other people. That isn't to say that they are shunned. The recognition of the power of emotional energy makes it easier for those training in the way of the Barbarian to be accepted by those around them. In Ankroth, Barbarian trainers are far and few between. Without the constant threat of battle or war the art of Rage combat is not as sought after. Many of the major cities will have a trainer in some capacity but the most revered masters live in the more wild portions of the continent such as the far North or the Swiyyan Jungles in the South. Most Barbarians originate from the Huskovanian peninsula due to the presence of Orcish culture and teachings.
Strihia is a land of great struggles and the need for physical prowess is undebateable. Beyond that many cultures of the continent put incredible honor on its strongest warriors, for this reason the Barbarian class is one that is greatly celebrated on these frozen wastes. Every town, city, and roving clan will have some basic training in the emotion based energy that facilitates the Rage power and every natural born citizen has access to these trainings.
Gladiatoral and fighting arenas span the entirety of Phezari. These public tests of combat catapult lowly fighters into storied champions. Barbarian training is a mainstay in all of the training dens and dojos established across Phezari with the main goal to put forward the finest fighters in the land. Some of the most famous fighters to ever grace the various arenas were Barbarians, putting on spectacles of violence and strength. Whether a citizen joins that fighting lifestyle or not, the teachings of Rage combat are always available.
