The Avaratic Keep
A black fortress located on the edge of Feron, this keep looks upon the lands of New Belkzen and Feron.
Purpose / Function
This stands as a last defense and a symbol of power. Should an enemy ever attempt to take Fargen at the front the Avaratic Keep will be the first thing seen and the last taken.
Architecture
The walls are made of a stronger version of the same metal that Feron's walls are made of, reinforced with powerful magics on top of that. The haunting gothic structure seems to scream as the wind passes through its halls, no internal heating is present as fires light inside the building quickly flicker and fade.
History
When the sinful keeps were first being built each was tested by Mukar, this test would start with him running his claw through the wall. If this left more than a scratch the walls were to be torn down and rebuilt until they could accomplish this task. The for the next task Mukar would wait until noon and cast fire upon the wall until dusk if the wall caved then it would be rebuilt. Finally, Mukar would cast all of his fury and call down rock from the heavens, he would do this every day at noon until the wall fell, then it would be rebuilt until it could take this trial for that many times plus one. For each trial it did not Mukar swallowed one of the builder's children.
The Avaratic Keep was the last fortress to be built when Mukar arrived he looked upon it and then upon Ser Infrexus saying the following words, "The ice will not protect your metal from warping in my fires, boy."
Ser Infrexus did not reply and as the first fireball left the tip of Mukar's fingers it did not detonate, he cast several more to the same result, "What trickery do you use to thwart me, boy?"
"Tricks are not of my arsenal my liege, I simply planed for a warm summer."
