Order of the Godclaw
The strangest of all of the hellknight orders, the godclaw not only embrace religion but created their own. The godclaw worships not one but five gods, Abadar, Asmodeus, Iomedae, Irori, and Torag. They see each as a pillar of order that must be followed and each as a model to which to strive for.
Public Agenda
The godclaw seeks no purpose but to combat the Worldwound and purge demonic influence.
Tenets of Faith
- I Will eliminate Chaos, whatever its form wherever it exists, resting only when the world is right
- I will destroy those who toot lawlessness in the weak hearts and minds
- I will strive to be worthy of not one, but five
- I will seek the great principles behind life, the truths spoken through many voices
- I will be a paragon of order, an unassailable example that others might follow
- I will commit what I don't know or can't understand to the judgment of the five
Worship
Each of the five gods represent different parts of the order, different ideas to strive for.
Abader- Compromise, the ability to set differences aside to destroy a common enemy, the foundation of civilization and the struggle for balance.
Asmodeus- Cruelty, the necessity of tyranny and order for the survival of civilization, the need for evil and violence to overcome the enemies of society.
Iomedae- Sacrifice, Iomedae was a hero-god who died combating a threat known to few today the Never. This conviction is what allows the godclaw to show no fear when fighting the enemy.
Irori- Self, in order to fight chaos one must have an ordered mind, Irori is that order, the self-discipline in mind and body.
Torag- Focus, the need to push distractions aside for the good of the order and the good of civilization, walls must be built, wars must be fought, laws must be made, only focus can lead the correct path.
