History of Aina

    Creation of the Aina Continuum
    Celestial / Cosmic

Te Vevutur, 'The Name Giver,' enters Aina, a dormant multiverse. Fleeing from a threat in the greater outer multiverse, he summons the Pearl Snake to serve as a guardian entity for the five realms within Aina. Te Vevutur's primary goal is to consolidate his powers to defend against a distant, powerful opponent.

    The Children of Time
    Celestial / Cosmic

After The Pearl Snake's placement and before the Material Plane's formation, Te Vevutur brings forth the Eeirendel, the first 100 Gods of Aina. Amidst the primordial chaos, five among them—Aranon of Earth, Thianon of Light, Phin-Mahr of Air, Aejeon of Fire, and Daeranon of Water—rise as the most potent, not by divine appointment but through innate prowess and aesthetic mastery. This early atmosphere of competition, encouraged by Te Vevutur, not only distinguishes them but also sows the seeds of future discord among the Eeirende

    Ice Dragons
    Founding

"Ice Dragons, the inaugural sentient beings birthed by an Eeirendel, materialize in what would later be termed the 'Bottom of the World.' They come into existence under the guardianship of Mautosus, an earth deity who aligned himself with Aranon's aesthetic principles and took on the majestic form of a dragon. While not divine, these Ice Dragons are ageless and extraordinarily potent. They play a crucial role in molding the nascent Material Plane, sculpting domains within the turbulent, icy maelstroms of early Aina

    The Atheloi
    Founding

Toward the close of the First Aeon, after the last of the Eeirendel had ventured forth from his sanctuary, Te Vevutur is believed to have fashioned the Atheloi. These enigmatic beings, known as 'The Other Gods,' function essentially as Te Vevutur's clandestine operatives. Initially, their exclusive mandate was to engage with the mysteries and threats of the Ord Maada. They had no direct interactions with the prime and lower planes, nor any involvement with the Eeirendel and their subsequent creations. Their primary role was to aid Te Vevutur in fortifying his defenses against an unidentified, ominous force that lay beyond even the Ord Maada.

    Gaps in the Coil
    Celestial / Cosmic

Te Vevutur confronts the immutable reality of the Ord Maada, the chaotic outer reaches that predate even his celestial craftsmanship. Acknowledging their indelible presence, he ingeniously crafts The Crossworlds within the gaps of The Pearl Snake's cosmic coil. These interstitial dimensions serve as both a shield and a conduit, guarded by the Atheloi, who rise to prominence as the sentinels between order and chaos. Imbued with arcane laws and cosmic formulas, The Crossworlds become a labyrinthine buffer, isolating the inner sanctums of the Continuum from the malevolent forces lurking in the Ord Maad

    Focus of Creation
    Celestial / Cosmic

As the elemental energies of the Five Houses—Aranon (Earth), Thianon (Light), Phin-Mahr (Air), Aejeon (Fire), and Daeranon (Water)—coalesce, they forge the Prime Material Plane, known as 'Edrion.' This central Plane stands as the nexus of the interconnected realms, governed by the Major and Minor Houses that border it. By this point, Edrion is abundant with semi-sentient and non-sentient life forms, including both flora and fauna. Each of the major elemental domains within Edrion is overseen by its own distinct god or gods, along with their affiliated Minor House

    The Foundation of Truth
    Civil action

Te Vevutur and the Ayn Auline establish the Drandsia Vatar, a celestial covenant governing divine-mortal interactions. The Five Major Houses are created, each overseeing an elemental realm, laying the foundation for cosmic jurisprudence and shaping destiny itself. The Drandsia Vatar becomes the bedrock of cosmic jurisprudence, a divine tapestry woven with threads of fate and free will, forever shaping the destiny of gods and mortals alike

  • 500

    The Pentagram

The Ayn Auline officially adopts the pentagram as its sacred symbol, echoing the foundational principles of the Drandsia Vatar. Each of the five points represents one of the elemental realms—Marenwe, Thiandalune, Zerthia, Malondria, and Gerlandria—overseen by the Five Major Houses. The symbol serves as a celestial compass, guiding the gods and their mortal followers in maintaining the delicate balance of power and elemental harmony. It becomes a revered icon, etched into the very fabric of the Aina Continuum, and a subtle reminder of the intricate checks and balances that once made the Drandsia Vatar the cornerstone of divine law.

    The Higher Planes

Te Vevutur reshapes the ‘Higher Planes’, or Aria Ani, and also known as the ‘Nine Heavens’, to what may have been their former states. Much of the Aina Continuum’s former aspects are incorporated into new aspects of Te Vevutur’s creation. It is much like an artist who finds an old, unfinished pencil drawing, and completes the piece as his own work, based on the layout of the previous, unknown artist.

    Myrion

"Birth of Myrion, who would become the 2nd Iron Tide, to Saedis Oerion and Saenon.   The birth of Myrion was a momentous occasion for both Saedis Oerion and Saenon, as it marked the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. Myrion was born in the year 8575, during a time of great turmoil in the realm of the gods. The war between Earth and Water had been raging for years, and tensions were high between the two factions.   Despite the chaos of the outside world, Saedis Oerion and Saenon were overjoyed at the arrival of their daughter. Myrion was born into a family with a long and proud history of divine power, and her birth was seen as a sign of hope for the future of the realms.   For Saenon, Myrion's birth was a turning point in his own life. As the son of the High God of Earth, Saenon had been an adventurer and explorer, traveling far and wide across the realms in search of knowledge and adventure. But with the arrival of Myrion, he knew that he had to set aside his own desires and focus on being a father and husband.   In recognition of his new role, Saenon gifted his rings of power to each of the High Gods from the Realm of Water, Air, Valundor, and Fire. This act of selflessness and sacrifice was seen as a powerful symbol of the love and devotion that Saenon had for his family, and it helped to cement his place in the pantheon of the gods.   Myrion's birth was a pivotal moment in the history of the realms, marking the beginning of a new era of peace and prosperity. As she grew and developed her own powers as a Water Goddess, Myrion would play a key role in shaping the destiny of the gods and the mortal world alike."

    Endraosai

in the year 13303, the earth-gods Thanon and Paerdys found the Order of the Lord Inquisitors, or the Endraosai , to force the ‘truth’ of the Foundation upon the world. They are a fanatical group of Zervesi (earth elven) Crusaders whose mission is to rid the world of "heretic" races that have come about since the black fire wars. Thanon and Paerdys are both deeply bitter over the losses suffered by the Zervesi empires following the Black Fire War, Aldarian Revolution, Vampire Wars, and Earth Sea Wars. Though they turn away from the ways of the Drandsia Vatar, they believe they are in fact champions of the Old Foundation, and seek to restore the Zervesi to power on earth as it was in its golden age. But with the balancing sanity of Branon gone from the north, Thanon looks south to Paerdys an a cycle of tyranny ensues.

Many heinous acts are committed in the name of the Foundations, many by Thanon himself. These actions are ignored by the House of Aranon. Branon, aware of the purpose of the crusades, but not of the actions of his brother & those in his charge, remains in Andlom. He is concerned more with the affairs of his own people who, in their millennia of superiority over the earth-kingdoms have grown decadent, opulent, cruel, & violent. They fancy themselves as the sentinels of the Drandsia, yet indulge in every manner of subversive vice.

Garared was eager to follow in his father's footsteps and embark on adventures on the high seas. He was fascinated by the stories his father told him about the wonders of the world, and he yearned to see them for himself.   As they sailed across the oceans and seas, Jormin taught Garared everything he knew about navigation, seamanship, and combat. Garared proved to be a quick learner, and he soon became an invaluable member of the crew. He worked tirelessly, performing all sorts of tasks, from scrubbing the decks to rigging the sails and handling the ship's cannons during battles.   Their travels took them to exotic and distant lands, where they encountered strange creatures and encountered different cultures. They visited the fiery lands of Malondria, where they witnessed the power of the Celevesines, and the frozen wastelands of Norgard, where they faced off against fierce Ice Giants.   Throughout their journeys, Jormin and Garared faced many challenges and overcame numerous obstacles. They fought off pirates, battled sea monsters, and weathered fierce storms. They also made many allies, including other sailors, traders, and even royalty.   Garared grew into a skilled sailor and warrior, earning the respect of his crewmates and the admiration of his father. He proved himself in battle, demonstrating his bravery and cunning in the face of danger. His exploits earned him a reputation as a daring and heroic sailor.   Their adventures came to an end when Jormin retired from the Merchant Navy, and Garared continued to serve the Northland Trading Company, eventually rising to the rank of Commodore.
