An unseasonal thaw causes the earth to soften. Entire blocks of Defiance II sink into sudden sinkholes. Frost-slick caverns lined with strange glimmering roots are revealed beneath the foundations. Survivors report hearing whispers and weeping from the depths before sealing the area and relocating.
