The Pandemonium Conflict was a three-year territorial war between a troop of intelligent, socially-organized zombies and the early survivors who sought to claim a ruined hospital as a safe haven. It ended in 13 SE with the troop scattered and the hospital secured, marking the official founding of Camp Hope. The conflict shaped early research, doctrine, and doctrine on zombie behavior across the region.
