Description

Barely perceptible shadows ripple just beyond the corner of your vision. The Silent Stalker feeds not on flesh, but on the unraveling minds of those who linger too long in its presence. Its whispers erase your certainty—memories dissolve like fog, and for a moment, you're unsure if you’ve always been alone.

Drift Between Realms

The silent stalker becomes invisible for 1 minute or until it attacks. While invisible, it can pass through walls and solid objects as if they were difficult terrain. If it ends its turn inside a solid object, it is shunted to the nearest open space and stakes 5 force damage.

We Remember Fire

Silent Stalkers are vulnerable to radiant damage, which also inactivates the Blurred Form feature until the beginning of their next turn.

Even the dim glow of a torch or flashlight makes them recoil, holding them in place and inactivating their Blurred Form feature until the beginning of their next turn. Any spells in the Path of Light that do not cause radiant damage cause the the same effect as a torch or flash light.

If the Silent Stalker is attacked while a light has inactivated their Blurred Form feature, they loose their damage immunity.

Blurred Form

Attack rolls against the Silent Stalker are made with disadvantage unless the attacker can see invisible creatures or has blindsight.

Actions

Whispers Beyond Sight

The Silent Stalker doesn’t provoke opportunity attacks and can move through spaces occupied by other creatures. When it passes through a creature, that creature must succeed on a DC 10 Sanity saving throw or hear unintelligible whispers, giving them a level of exhaustion.

Feeding Touch

Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.

Sanity Leech

Recharge 5–6

When the Silent Stalker ends its turn within 5 feet of a creature, it can attempt to feed on that creature’s mind. The target must succeed on a DC 12 Sanity saving throw or Take 7 (2d6) psychic damage, and Draw a Sanity Effect card
