These bulky gloves are stitched from layers of denim, leather scraps, and melted plastic strips. Thick and heat-resistant—but clumsy—they were clearly made for handling dangerous scrap rather than dexterous work.

• While wearing these gloves:
• You have advantage on Constitution saving throws made to resist heat damage from hot objects like the Burn Barrel Blitz core.
• You have disadvantage on Sleight of Hand checks and Dexterity-based attack rolls requiring fine manipulation (e.g., throwing, ranged weapon attacks, certain tools).
• If you drop or fumble a heated object, the gloves emit a puff of acrid smoke, lightly obscuring a 5-foot space around you until the start of your next turn.
