Tiss is established

Founding

The first "settlers" from Victorian England arrived on the island that would someday be known as Tiss, facing a harsh and unforgiving reality. The brutal first winter decimated their numbers, leaving the survivors desperate. It was during this bleak period that a deal was struck with a mysterious stranger calling himself Asmodeus. The nature of this pact remains shrouded in shadow, but from that point forward, the fortunes of the Tiss began to change. Though it took centuries, the Tiss gradually grew in strength and influence, eventually conquering their entire island and embarking on a period of exploration and expansion. To this very day the island of Tiss has only one city, also named Tiss.
