The Emerald Folk arrive

The Emerald Folk were not passive travelers. Driven by a thirst for adventure and a yearning for new horizons, they sought out the ancient portal, a whisper of its existence passed down through generations. In waves, over centuries, they stepped through the shimmering veil – a group of villages in 1066 AD arriving in the year 8109 DC in the Dawn Lands, a band of Irish scholars in 1673 AD finding themselves thrust into the year 6627 DC. These temporal anomalies added an extra layer of complexity to their arrival, further disorienting them and forcing them to adapt quickly to this strange new world.
The Emerald Folk continued to arrive over the centuries, many fromd different regions and times from Earth. This has caused much confusion and a bit of culture shock but eventually all of the settlers that came through adapated and contribued their own knowledge and customs to the Emerald Folk. The regional Gate has not worked consistantly in over 100 years, but there are some scholars that claim that the occasional chance for one way travel does exist.
