The first Cat-folk refugee arrives.

Expedition

7910

The Catfolk of the Dawn Lands arrived as refugees, their once-proud nation shattered by an unending war against the encroaching Orc hordes. For generations, the feline folk had held their own, their agility and cunning a match for the brute strength of their enemies. But the war had taken its toll. Their lands were ravaged, their warriors weary, and the whispers of defeat grew louder with each passing moon.   The Catfolk had, for many years, traveled through the gate to trade with the elves of the Western Forest. But now their seemed to be little hope in staying. Families started going through, one at a time at first, but then entire clans and towns came through.   The Catfolk brought with them their warrior spirit, their cunning, and a deep-seated distrust of outsiders, a legacy of their long struggle for survival. They quickly established themselves as formidable hunters and scouts, their keen senses and agile movements making them invaluable assets in the ever-shifting landscape of the Dawn Lands.
