Succubus

The Succubi of the Dawn Lands are a race of beings born from the shadows of desire and the whispers of forbidden pleasures. Their origins are shrouded in myth and legend, some claiming they are the twisted offspring of mortals consumed by their own lusts, others whispering of a pact with a forgotten demon lord.

Legend speaks of a time when the Feywild bled into the mortal realm, a period of intense magical flux. During this time, creatures of nightmare and desire were born, the Succubi among them. These beings, embodiments of raw desire and carnal temptation, were drawn to the burgeoning civilizations of the Dawn Lands, where they found fertile ground for their influence.

Initially, Succubi were solitary creatures, preying upon the weak and the lonely, draining their victims of life force and leaving them hollow husks. However, over centuries, they began to organize, forming covens and establishing hidden lairs within the deepest, darkest recesses of the Dawn Lands. Some Succubi, driven by ambition and a thirst for power, sought to manipulate mortals, using their seductive Bewitchs to sow discord and weaken their enemies from within.

Today, Succubi remains a dangerous and enigmatic presence in the Dawn Lands. They are masters of illusion and deception, their beauty a seductive trap that masks their predatory nature. Some Succubi operate as solitary hunters, while others serve powerful demon lords or even engage in political intrigue, manipulating the affairs of mortals for their own amusement or to further their own insidious agendas.

Abilities

Bewitch: The Succubus can touch an NPC, monster, or player in battle, duels, or quests or during role playing. Unlike all other powers in the Dawn Lands LARP this ability does work inside of towns and safe zones. It doesn't work on staff or loremasters. A successful touch puts the target under the Bewitchment of the Succubus until the event ends or the target reaches 0 HP. The Bewitched target must follow the Succubus player's directions (nothing actually risky, dangerous, offensive, or demeaning), fight for them, or use requested abilities. This only affects one target at a time. If you Bewitch another target while having a Bewitch active, your first target is freed from your Bewitch and must be told they are free. This ability can be used three times per day (3x/day) and can be renewed.The Succubus can attempt to Bewitch a humanoid creature within eyesight and must make eye contact.

Infernal Kiss: The succubus player may attempt a touch attack. If the touch is successful the affected target loses 1 HP and the Succubus gains 1 HP. This can bring the Succubus up past her starting HP. This ignores armor but not shields. This can be used infinite times. This must be called out.

Nightmare Touch: The succubus player may attempt a touch attack. If the touch is successful the affected target is unable to sleep. This sleep is in game only, the actual player can sleep. The effect of this is that abilities do not naturally reset or renew at dawn. HP is not naturally healed with sleep either. The player's abilities and HP can still be renewed from external sources (such as a temple, holy site, bard, etc). This ability has no limit of uses but must be called out.

Whispers on the Wind: While actively looking at and whispering to a target creature, the Succubus is immune to attacks from that creature.
