El Silbón
The legend of El Silbón, the spectral guardian of the plains, has echoes in the Dawn Lands. It is said that centuries ago, a young man named Avani, born to a prominent family in a small village nestled amongst the grasslands, grew into a spoiled and arrogant youth. He scoffed at the traditions of his people, mocked the elders, and treated those less fortunate with disdain. His cruelty knew no bounds, leaving a trail of broken hearts and shattered lives in his wake.
One fateful night, during a lavish feast, Avani, fueled by wine and arrogance, struck down his own father, the village elder, in a fit of rage. The villagers, horrified by his act, banished him from their midst, cursing him to wander the plains for eternity.
As Avani wandered, lost and alone, a strange transformation began to take hold. His skin grew pale and gaunt, his eyes hollow and filled with a chilling emptiness. His laughter turned into a chilling whistle, a sound that sent shivers down the spines of those who heard it. Avani, once a symbol of arrogance, became a grotesque parody of humanity, forever bound to wander the plains, a chilling reminder of the consequences of pride and cruelty.
Over time, Avani became known as El Silbón, the spectral guardian of the plains. He became a legend, a cautionary tale whispered to children to deter them from disobedience and cruelty. He began to punish those who strayed from the path of righteousness, those who indulged in excess, and those who showed disrespect to their elders.
Now, El Silbón roams the plains of the Dawn Lands, a chilling reminder of the consequences of pride and arrogance. His chilling whistle echoes through the night, a warning to those who stray from the path of virtue.

The Silbón's Whisper: El Silbón can emit a chilling whistle that causes all creatures within the encounter area to lose 1 HP. This is a fear attack and is negated by abilities that work against fear attacks. This can only be performed by El Silbón once per encounter but does not need to be renewed.
The Curse of the Bonesack: As an action, El Silbón can curse a creature. The cursed creature suffers a -2 to all damage dealt, APR (minimum of 0), and HP (minimum of 1). This last until the target performs a good deed or atone for a past misdeed.
Shadow Step: El Silbón can move through shadows with unnatural speed, appearing and disappearing seemingly at will. In game terms, the El Silbón player can call a hold when they wish and all players, NPCs, or Monsters attacking or engaging El Silbón must freeze so that El Silbón can leave the encounter area. This can only be performed once per day (1x day) but cannot be renewed. Bone Chill: El Silbón can unleash a wave of chilling energy that deals cold damage to all creatures within an encounter area. All players in the player in the encounter area attack El Silbón lose 1 point of damage. This can be performed only once per encounter but does not need to be renewed by the El Silbón player.
The Weight of Guilt: El Silbón can force a creature to confront their past sins. In game terms, as long as El Sabon is talking to a party, player, NPC, or monster about their sins then they cannot attack or act. If El Silbón stops talking, leaves, moves, or attacks then that ends this ability.
The Plains Stalker: El Silbón is particularly effective in open plains and grasslands. In game terms, if El Sabon is in an open field they gain a +1 to HP, APR, and weapon damage.
Hunter of Sin: El Silbón is drawn to areas of vice and corruption, seeking out those who have committed transgressions against the natural order. This includes temples or holy areas of places related to powerful evil beings such as Orcus, Vortex, Set, or Asmodeus. This also includes evil NPCs and Monsters.
Nightmare Mount: El Silbón is often seen riding a black horse with red fiery eyes. So, El Silbón is considered mounted and can cross river obstacles (but not barriers)
