When Vaeloth and Draugonir weaved their Web of Magic, it extended from Calendêhl and soon covered the whole of Daurinath, including the Eastern continent.

The new Magical Web had a tremendous influence on every living being there. Some plants developed magical powers, spirits started to inhabit places or trees, where the strands of the weave crossed, creatures developed magical talents or changed completely and even turned into monsters. Beast people made their first appearances, from the Lizard Folk in the South to the Speaking Bears in the Icy Plains. Magic, wild and free, was allowed to evolve, because the two Star Dragons were only controlling and guarding magical effects on Calendêhl.
