Venethrax, the Blight
The second divine spark of Nithe was formed from his hatred in the form of an abomination that appeared to be made from the corpse of a deceased mortal. After watching his brother Ravagor, the Cataclysm bring ruin upon the new world, and seeing how the mortals perservered, he realized that random acts of destruction are not enough to end all of creation, so he used his powers to create silent killers such as pestilence and poison and spread them throughout the animals and plants of the world. Pleased with the seeds of death placed throughout the world he further corrupted the life essense of creation by disrupting the natural passage of souls to the afterlife, creating what the mortal races came to know as the undead. Venetrax constantly works to pervert and corrupt the creations of the five divines to bring about their slow extinction.
