M2277 Stahlhelm (SHTALL-helm)
M2277 Stahlhelm
The Stahlhelm, or "steel helmet" is recognized the world over for being the headgear of choice of Germany's armed forces during the World Wars. Its distinctive coal-scuttle shape immediately became recognizable upon the helmet's first deployment and garnered even more fame than the spiked pickelhaube before it.
In the year 2277, the tried and true Stahlhelm design received a major rework, taking on the well-known shape of the desert pith helmet. This design provided the wearer extra protection from grazing blows from blades or blunt objects. The helmet is made of thick steel with soft leather lining on the inside, and a strap across the bottom for securing the helmet to the wearer's head via their chin.
