Military action
A group of six knights trained local farmers in preparation for an attack on their village. They fought beside the farmers and won the battle, earning them fame and respect in the area.
The village Chirwood, seated at the upper shores of Miller Run, risked a big assault by bandits. Representatives from the villagers went out to seek help from bigger villages. A group of six knights were informed about the cry for help and decided to travel over there.
The knights were skilled fighters and saw how their knowledge was greatly needed among the farmers. It took days to teach the villagers how to fight, but when the bandits came they were ready. Some lives were lost, but they eventually defeated the bandits with help from the knights. The six became famous around the area.
The victory and the resulting fame for the knights gave one of them, Gimo Vanderr, the idea of teaching self defense to others in need. This is where the Academy started forming.
