Seltorianism and Chaos
Embrace Change
Seltorians are mainly found in the Viscounty of Stormside and the County of Arnarfell, and their principles are quite simple. Though there may be a strict feudal order, you should feel free to do whatever you'd like to do in the moment, so long as it doesn't harm anyone. They're also not entirely restrictive on what Divines are to be worshipped in this religion; anyone from the pantheon will do, but Primordials resemble their values more. When in doubt, you shouldn't keep doing what people have told you to do, but rather do what you think is right for the people you care about, including yourself. Difficult times will occur, and we have to learn how to adapt anyway, so just embrace the change. The only problem with this sort of thinking is that though it might apply to the life of a simple peasant who can't decide what to do after they're finished harvesting crops for the day, criminals usually use it as an excuse for their actions (even if it strictly says "without harming anyone"), and extravagant socialites of the aristocracy brag about it and use it like an annoying motto. The principles of family, life, accepting change, and doing what you enjoy aren't for every society, but it helps. Well, if you aren't naïve and use them properly. These principles kind of go against all that is set up by Valnietism and the cosmic concept of Law, as it enforces the belief that there is no order to society and all must change anyway. This train of thought can very much be interpreted as selfish, uncaring, and downright evil. Many "capital E" Evil creatures align with chaos for this exact reason, since most don't help out society in any way. It doesn't help that Valnietism is the closest thing there is to an official state religion, so Seltorians tend to experience religious persecution.
