Name: The Wolf’s Head Type: Arcane Cane / Veil-Conduit Tool Appearance: Black lacquered wood with a silver wolf’s head grip, its eyes made of small green gemstones that shimmer faintly under candlelight—even when the room is dark. The silver is etched with runes that flicker under certain angles.

When someone is channeling, infused with, or touched by the Veil nearby, the cane’s eyes glow green. It glows faint for latent or passive connection, brighter and more intense when active Veil use is happening in the moment.

Warding Lash – "Bite the Unseen"

When Billy strikes a spirit or Veil-touched being with the cane, the silver flares hot and deals real harm to incorporeal forms. It bypasses most Veil defenses and can banish minor spirits or disrupt rituals.  

Spectral Command – "Voice of the Alpha"

Spirits, echoes, or minor entities feel compelled to obey when he holds the cane. It grants +1 effect when commanding or intimidating spirits, and sometimes causes echoes to speak when they normally wouldn’t.  

Veil Ward – "The Circle No One Crosses"

When pressed to the floor and activated with a short chant, the cane can create a temporary Veil warding circle (small room-sized). It keeps spirits and Veil manifestations from entering or attacking for a few minutes — just enough to regroup or threaten from safety.
