Ilelran

Ilelran is one of the larger cities in Enohei. Positioned on the northern bank of the Linerien Lake, it features in the Duchy as a center for trade, but mostly for tourism from the region. Sometimes called The Jeweled City, Ilelran features a mix between intricately crafted classical architecture and more flashy, modern styles.
 
  Ilelran is largely seen as a city of entertainment, featuring many festivals, arenas, performing arts, casinos. There is always something to do here. The citizens that live and visit within the walls are generally quite wealthy compared to the rest of the country. Here they enjoy security, a wealth of natural beauty, and fine representations of all the arts.
  However, under the surface of this city of lights are many of the backroom dealings that control much of Quenia. High ranking government officials and influential guilds members alike frequent Ilelran and find plenty of business to discuss.
 

Weather

The weather in Ilelran is kept to a perfectly mild, sunny day year round by local mages. It is partly this weather that attracts many vacationers to enjoy the guaranteed comfort of Ilelran.

Entertainment is the main driving force for the economy of Ilelran.
 

Innovation Plazas

Innovation Plazas are scattered throughout the city and offer demonstrations of the latest and greatest technologies. They allow the citizens and visitors of Ilelran to see experience the inventions of the future before anyone else, and allow their inventors to find potentially buyers and investors among the city's wealthy
 

Fine Arts

Ilelran hosts many patrons of the fine arts. Everything from music to drama to painting to sculpture and beyond can be found here.
  There are many theaters in the city, many found in the Theater District. The most well-known is The Silverlight, but also notable are The Celestial Hall and The Illuminary.

Nightlife

Ilelran is home to more casinos per square foot than any other city on Quenia. A favorite pasttime of the continent's wealthy, the casinos often play host to many important meetings and dealings.
  The bar culture of Ilelran is another notable part of its nightlife. The city's bars feature many flashy bartenders producing some crazy and potent concoctions. Patrons of the bars in Ilelran are always looking for the latest escape, so the drinks often provide whoever consumes it with many mind and reality bending effects, along with the exotic ingredients they boast.
 

Festivals

Ilelran also frequently hosts many festivals and fairs; it seem as if the next festival has always started before the last even ends. In addition to entertaining the city's affluent, these frequent events keep tourists flowing to run the city's economy, and provide a distraction for the less affluent citizens of Ilelran that keep it functioning.
 

Exports

Ilelran is not known for many exports, though it does produce a decent few luxury items, such as jewelry and gems.
  While few inventors find a permanent home in Ilelran, many flock to the city to show off their inventions in the Innovation Plazas. In this way Ilelran contributes to the development and spread of these new technologies.
 

Education

The main university in the city is Horizon, which graduates many of the country's and continent's best bards.
