Dranera (dra-nair-uh)
Dranera is a small, oceanic tribe that live off the coast of Quenia, nearest to Dryndid. Named for Dranera, first Champion of the Arena of Storms, this tribe forms their lives around the storms that often plague the area. It is currently lead by Igec Choto. They live on the Dranera island, the largest island of the Storm Isles.
Dranera survives by hunting the neighboring islands. The weather is quite mild year round which allows them to hunt most of the year. The only exceptions are the storms seasons which last 1-2 months and occur approximately every 5 months. Each hunting season they hunt one of neighboring five large islands--Arphobo, Ecnieh, Arduth, Kurzes, and Dyxdos--giving four hunting seasons to allow the wildlife population on each island to recover before they hunt again.
