Ethereal Mists
A thin veneer stretched over the Mortal Realm, the Ethereal Mists is a shadow of its Mortal counterpart. From the Ethereal Mists the Mortal Realm is visible but cannot be touched. It is the realm of lost souls who have escaped the Maelstrom and lesser Spirits.
There is no gravity in the Ethereal Mists and movement requires force of Will. Being thinly spread over the Mortal Realm it is bordered on all sides by the Mists. Time passes in lockstep with the Mortal Realm and Mortals within the Ethereal Mists require food and rest as normal.
