Energy Planes

Not so much places as roiling seas of energy. Specifically Necrotic Energy and Radiant Energy. Each is required for the creation, maintenance, and end of life. No consciousness exists in these planes, nor can Mortal Matter enter them.

Necrotic Energy

The energy released upon death, it buoys the soul, protecting it from the Maelstrom until the soul is embraced by a divinity or dissipates. This power can be channeled to fuel Undeath, animating corpses and bolstering souls. However this power is corrosive to life. The Necrowells on Grey Marches are portals to this realm of Necrotic Energy.

Radiant Energy

The power of life Radiant Energy is what life uses to sustain itself. Typically accessed through a divine channel to heal, Radiant energy can lead to rampant uncontrolled growth without proper control. This can lead to mutation and warping of a creature in unexpected ways. As such, most Radiant Energy is used by Adherents who channel the power through a divinity that can moder
