Curse of Divineless
Val'a is isolated from the power of the divine, preventing the power of the Spirits, Saints, and Gods from touching the sphere. As far as anyone other than the Emerged Elves know, that is the Godswar Curse. And they have no incentive to tell anyone otherwise.
