Artificer

Crafters, Tinkerers, and smiths the Artificers combine Wizardry and the arts of the hand to craft fantastical objects. Unlike Wizardry, these objects fix the spells into an object and can be used by anyone with the Will to activate them. From forgers of magical items, to alchemists empowering potions, to shapers of flesh, Artificers are as varied as their interests.

Multitool

The hallmark of the Artificer is their Multitool, be is something that can fit in a hand, or a fantastical mechanism that reacts to the Artificer's Will, the Multitool is their Focus for imbuing Arcane power into their creations. Each Multitool is unique and an outgrowth of the Artificer's personality, idiosyncrasy, and specialty.

Manual

The Artificer stores their knowledge in one or more specially prepared Codexes called Manuals. These contain the Blueprints for devices and the necessary Formulae to empower them. This means that devices recorded in the codex take up twice the space of a similarly powered spell.

Blueprints

While the creations of the mundane parts of a mechanism can be shared easily. Transcribing these takes no special effort unless the Artifice encrypted their knowledge somehow.

Formulae

The Arcane Formulae necessary to empower a mechanism is unique to the Alchemist's understanding of magic. As such to transcribe another Alchemists or Arcane Caster's Codex requires extended study and reinterpretation for scribing into the Alchemist's own Codex.

Alchemist

Crafting ammunition and creating consumable items that bolster the body, Alchemists infuse their creations with Arcane Power.

Gunslinger

Pouring their craft and knowledge into an arcane device that can deliver destructive power, the Gunslinger's weapon is unique to its creator. Focusing on empowered ammunition and custom construction the Gunslinger cuts themselves off from other creations.

Mechanist

The Mechanist wears their creations on their sleeve, literally. Integrating their Multitool they craft a unique suit of armor that protects and empowers them.
