Dryad
Dryads are born from a tree their mother kissed when it was a sapling. Since they are tied to the tree spiritually they never stray far from their 'birthing' place.
They are found in the company of Nymph's who depend on them to make more of their kind. For them to reproduce the Nymph shakes her hair making glittery pollen fall on the Dryaid. Somehow this impregnates them and they end up carrying the baby for up two years. Nymphs grow very slowly, so one that is fully grown would be at least over 600 years.
