Founding

On this day, the Capital of Wastone was founded, by groups of Dwarves searching for a place like home within mountains above the sea.

Wastone was originally founded by a group of dwarves in search of an accommodating home after several failed attempts and digging underground like their ancestors. They discovered this large, mountain ringed valley and settled dead in its center. There is only one way in by land between the towering peaks, so all other travel is restricted to airships otherwise. The city has several tall watchtowers built to keep an eye on anyone traveling in. The city itself digs into the mountains surrounding it to mine for the various ores needed in their smelting and smithing that continues to be the pride of the dwarven race. Over time, other deep earth races of the past have made their way here as well and joined this capital.
