Founding of the City of Rathral, and with it the Rathrali Dynasty, by Optimae Rath

Founding

Madame Optimae Rath, a savvy and rich trader who lived in Southern Chotas, long had ambitions far above her station as a merchant. She convinced her third husband, the King of the city of Kiast, to allow her to found a settlement in his name near the Jai'lor River. This hamlet would grow rapidly to a town and then a great City, surviving much longer than the Kingdom of Kiast would. This city was Rathral, and Optimae Rath's very prestigious bloodline, the Rathrali, would eventually rise to Imperial power in centuries to come.
