Rilairazx (Ree-Lie-Razz-Icks)
Klimmin Drajrud (Cli-Min-Der-Rah-Juh-Ooode), going by the name Rilairazx and nicknamed "The Jindachi Maestro of Xiadai", is a Dragonborn warlord vying for the destruction of the Jade Phoenix throne and Hei hegemony over Ryusha. A self-professed "man of the people" and a master of the two-handed Jindachi (a draconic version of the Jikatan "Tachi" sword, modified with a curved hilt. Rilairazx's Jindachi, Akaikiri- translating to "Red Mist"- has a red blade made of treated bronze and containing notches on the sharp side of the blade, creating a saw-like weapon that requires brute strength to slice anything.), Rilairazx is strong, tough, and ready to use his martial prowess for the honour of all the Laungye.
Born with the name "Klimmin" in the Xiadai Forested Hills, the location of most of Ryusha's Dragonborn population, he was born into the Drajrud clan, whos ranks have included some of the preeminent Dragonborn warriors in Ryusha. His father was a commander in one of the Lao Dynasty's dedicated "Laungye Tuan" (Dragonborn Regiments), and his mother was the court mage for the Lao-appointed administrator that ruled over Xiadai in those days from the city of Crisqorel, Ugoma Yan (father of Ugoma Bei, another warlord known as the "Last Scion of Ugoma"). Passionate, honourable and brave from a young age, Klimmin proved himself as a master of the Jindachi (it is said that, in order to train, he would take month long expeditions through the Xiadai hills hunting bandits and monsters) and a devotee of "the old ways" of Ryushan Dragonborn, before the dynasties to the North expanded south and subjugated the Dragonborn and the whole region of Xiadai. Eventually, after his father's regiment all died during a failed punitive expedition to capture the bandit Chai Nodai, Klimmin was spurred on to gather support for a popular uprising under his leadership.
So the story goes, Klimmin was visiting his now elderly mother in Crisqorel. While she was attending to Ugoma Yan's magical queries, Klimmin flew into a fervent monologue about the oppression of the Lao Dynasty and all those dynasties that had come before it. Ugoma Yan, a life-long devotee to the Lao and a personal friend to several high-ranking officials, also flew into an equally angry rant about the "savagery" of the Dragon Folk. Attempting to break up the argument before it got too heated, Klimmin's mother tried to calm Ugoma Yan down and was struck in the face with an armoured backhand, which mortally wounded her. With a hateful look in his eye, Klimmin unsheathed his Jindachi ("Akaikiri") and, with a 360 degree spin, sliced Ugoma Yan's head clean off. Regaining his composure quickly, he declared to all those in the Crisqorel town hall that "the time of Lao rule is over, the time of Xiadai and it's people is now". He also announced he was shedding his old name and taking the pseudonym "Rilairazx", the title given to an old hero in draconic mythology.
Currently, despite his claims of liberating all of Xiadai from "the vile Hei influence", most of the region remains unclaimed by any warlord, remaining under the nominal stewardship of the Lao government. Rilairazx has been focusing more on the altercation with Kang-Ba Lei in the Ri-Rin forest, but if he can secure that position, he will sweep through Xiadai and bring the whole region under his wing, including one of the mountains sacred to the Hei, Mt Dai-Zhu. From there, the choice of where to go next is up to him. He could move south and attack Xia-Min Wan, awaking the sleeping tiger for a challenge. He could stay put and consolidate his holdings, or he could move north attempting to march on the capital, but he would have to pass through several tribes as well as Qinxi Teng and Dhou Lin to get there.
