Quinessa Rathrali (Cuh-Win-Ess-Ahh-Wrath-Rah-Lee)

Burgomistress of Mozan, Lady Quinessa "Quinn" Esertia Aldary D'Utir Rathrali is a prominent Human noblewoman who is currently in charge of the city of Mozan, located in South-Eastern Chotas under the rule of the Rathrali Kingdom. She is a member of the influential Noble House of Rathrali and aspires to become the Lord Mayor of Rathral- the designated heir to the title of Suzerain of Rathrali. A famed member of high society, she appears to be a kind, outgoing and charismatic person- but is reality an expert manipulator and ruthless social climber who uses every trick and technique in her arsenal to gain the upper hand and get closer to her ultimate goal of becoming the next Suzerain of Rathrali. Quinessa is also known to hire adventurers to help her in her goals.   Born in Utirbarg, Quinessa came from a union between two great Noble Houses- House D'Utir, the founding family of Utirbarg descended from Ruthgan himself, and House Rathrali, widely regarded as the single most influencial Noble family in the world. Unfortunately for Quinessa, she was born into dark times for the D'Utir family. House Rathrali, in one of their famously ruthless schemes, aimed to unseat the D'Utirs from their position of ruling family of Utirbarg. Quinessa's childhood was ultimately happy, as she was far down the lines of succession and was not likely to inherit major responsiblity, leaving her free to live an easy life. Although, this life was subtly tainted by unrest, disputes with vassals, and incessant political schemeing that threatened to throw Utirbarg into chaos. The D'Utirs gradually lost almost everything and were confined to their summer manor when civil war officially broke out in the summer of AP 1516. Her mother, Merden D'Utir, urged Quinessa to seek out her Rathrali father in order to save herself from the calamity that had befallen the D'Utirs and to ensure the survival of at least one D'Utir. Quinessa did so, and travelled north to Chotas after sneaking away from the summer manor. She found her father, Kujat Rathrali, in the city of Mozan just before he was set to leave to govern a Rathrali colony in Pamokuu. Kujat took Quinessa in, and she was legally accepted as part of the Rathrali family.   Quinessa has spent the last 15 years working her way up the Rathrali hierarchy, aiming to become the next Suzerain. Publicly, she does this for any number of reasons- the immense wealth, prestige, power and influence the title possesses is enough to convince anyone to compete for it. However, she secretly aims to use the influence of the Suzerain title to sabotage the Rathrali Dominion from the inside, tearing the family apart like the D'Utirs were.
