Human Kingdoms (Hue-Man-King-Domes)

The Twelve Unified Kingly Fiefdoms of Yalorath, known to Commoners and Merchants as The Human Kingdoms, the Fiefdoms of Yalorath or simply Yalorath (for it's geographical location) is a group of kingdoms united under one ruler, present on the Island of Kquimlar. It is located in Central Kquimlar, encompassing the vast majority of the region of Yalorath (with only the Island of Daweios not under it's control, as it has been set aside as an offshore Nation founded by escaped slaves of the former Marauder Khanate, which disbanded in CR 10953) and parts of the Eastern leg of Kquimlar. Founded during the Abyssal Invasions by the Queen of  Iliees Anslao II as a temporary defensive pact to combat the demonic invaders, the organisation quickly evolved into not just an alliance of various nations under the same monarch (Aforementioned Iliees Anslao II), but a united culture and ethnicity. Today, the Yalora are one of the largest human ethnicities in Dagan, travelling far from the centre of Kquimlar.   Being one of the biggest participants in the Battle of Kquimlar brought Yalorath a lot of renown as a place- after the battle, many soldiers and auxiliaries stayed in the region to help with the clean-up, subsequently staying in Yalorath and founding many small villages, some of which still stand to this day. Mages flocked to the Pelat Mountains (the site of the battle) to chronicle, document and see what could be gleaned from the residual abyssal energy and the various corpses. A few stayed to form a small monastery town/outpost named Kai Nu, which was granted special status by the Yalorathian crown and designated "The Magelands". However, Kai Nu was abandoned and remains occupied by a coven of sorcerers, while the mages fled to a mostly uncharted part of Kquimlar through the Sithim Desert, a place that would become known colloquially as the "New Magelands".   The country was also a founding member of the Kquimlarian Fraternity of Nations, alongside the Dwarven Confederation and the Elven Imperium. The ruling House Anslao was the driving force behind the groups creation, personally pouring much of the house's personal wealth into the construction of The Seat, a huge city that was supposed to combine all of the technological innovations and architectural principles of the three nations who built it. Unfortunately for House Anslao, they never really recouped on this large investment: the dissolution of the Fraternity, an Elven Civil war, and an increasingly more isolationist Dwarven state all led to construction stoppage. Nowadays, The Seat is a ruin, with many varied bandits, cultists and antagonistic tribes dwell within it's unfinished carcass.   Recently, High King Tradus XII came to power in Yalorath after the disappearance of his elder brother, Cassicus II, which led to protests from the establishment and the people. Tradus was seen as too young and immature to rule, and was generally regarded as someone who didn't know how to pilot the ship of state. This boiled over into a temporary open revolt against the King in which the parliament of Yalorath was actually able to legally depose Tradus as monarch. The parliament then attempted to set up a republic led by a charismatic young MP named Therodatos, but this was quickly quashed. Curiously, Tradus disappeared after this point and Cassicus returned to take the throne, leading some to believe it was all a manufactured conspiracy.   Religiously, Yalorath attempts to be very centralised, worshipping one single god: a mysterious, ancient deity known to the people as the Three-faced Sun. As it's name suggests, it is a deity that combines multiple different portfolios; in practice, the most prominent are Light, Death, Law and Time. Officially, the Three-faced Sun is venerated by the Solarian Church, more specifically it's Yalorath branch. Other religions are allowed, but often looked upon with suspicion due to the Church's rhetoric against non-believers in recent years. The Solarians hold immense power over the nation, with their stronghold being Our Church of Thine Blessed Stars in Metros.
