He represents the merchants of the Dawning Empire and is the patron deity of smooth-talkers, tradesmen and travellers alike. This deity prizes material wealth, cunning and indulgence above all, and rewards mortals with a slippery enough mind to ensure their own success.   All coins with The Dawning Empire are printed with the current Davistan Emperor on one side, and the Peddler on the other.   Helias, the City of Silks, worships the Peddler almost fanatically - swearing on him to confirm a deal when haggling or as a symbol of trust among merchants. Every inch of the city is dripping with the guileful nature of the patron god, which most within the Empire are overwhelmed by.   The Peddler is everyone's friend in the relationship web of the Gods, and he supports Avlar's claim as God of death as power that he rightfully won.   Many magic items are attributed to the Peddler, particularly those from Avalon, The Lost City. Before Avlar's Conquest, the Peddler had a huge influence over the city, which was overflowing with luxuries and wealth before being struck by calamity as Avlar ascended.
