Soaring above the docks, alleyways and open markets rise the domain of
Helias's finest crafters and traders - the Bridgeway.
These highly specialised vendors can facilitate any request made of them, for a steep price. Their shopfronts are decorative and opulent, but lack the busy thoroughfare seen below. Taxidermized lions or whales might stand guard before the doors to an interior decorator, who only receives one or two clients in a day. What matters, however, is who those clients are.
The merchants of the Bridgeway are incredibly secretive of their customers - no amount of gold could pry client information from their clutches. They hoard their secrets away from each other with fierce competition, ensuring that their competitors do not steal their business away from them. The feuds between Bridgeway vendors has escalated over the last century to such an extent that many have secret entrances to their stores, allowing return customer to utilize magic when seeking to enter their store and browse some wares again. It is not rare to hear of an incident between two rival vendors ending in blood.
For those lucky (or rich) enough to see the insides, these private booths are often decorated in rugs and pillows, with thick incense in the air. The more marvelous the decorations the more distinguished the vendor, with some going so far as having indoor natural exhibits, wonderous animals as pets, or even exist in a magical demi-plane themselves.
