The Sterevina
Structure
The Sterevina is a sisterhood of witches who serve as advisors, healers, and warriors to their community. Each pack has a First Coven composed of three witches: a Maid, who serves as the Warrior who protects the pack and hunts down threats; a Mother, who serves as the Watcher who nurtures and cares for the pack; and a Crone, who serves as the Wayfinder who offers guidance and counsel to the pack. More witches often live within the pack in their own covens, but the First Coven is the primary source of support to the pack's Prime. The Argent Coven is the highest coven in the Prästarwald and the head of the Sterevina. They are based in Volstadt and serve as the primary advisors to the Thistle Throne.
Despite the names of their roles, a witch's role within a coven is not dictated by her age, sex, or reproductive capability. Instead, her personality and values inform whether she is a Maid, a Mother, or a Crone. In the case of Maids, these witches also hold the exclusive ability to shift into the guise of a giant wolf, which confers the additional moniker of zweikozha, or 'two-skins'.

The Sterevina is a large coven of witches dedicated to the wolf goddess, Simene.
Granted Divine Powers
The power to influence the natural world around them via the flora and fauna. Warrior Maids are also called zweikozha, who are able to shift into the guise of giant wolves.
