The birth of the divine and the death that followed after.

Y'nara was alone. Cut off from her family by untold eons of time and space as each drop of Everything scattered across the stars, there was no one and nothing to turn to in her hour of greatest need. Finally, after an era of debate and wrestling with her conscience, Y'nara resolved to create her own family using the strength and power of D'neth itself. Though she was loath to bring children into existence for the purpose of war, her options were limited and her resolve unmoved.

Thus, drawing on the power and matter of D'neth itself, Y'nara first created twin sons, the embodiment of beginnings, Ardün, and the emboidment of endings, Nimagos, whom she modeled after her eldest brother, who had woken her in the space between stars to walk the night dark skies of the cosmos with him. Next, she created twelve daughers whom she called the Pillars of Infinity, for they were the foundations on which D'neth would stand. With her children arrayed before her, Y'nara impressed upon them the severity of their situation and begged their forgiveness for the choice she had made to create them in order to destroy the dangers that awaited them. Though she knew the offer was hollow at best, to each of her children she gave a choice: to decline to take part in the violence that was to come by either hiding or fleeing the planet itself or to join her in the war against the [NAME]. To a one, they swore fealty to their mother's cause.

Bolstered by the support of her new family, Y'nara led them to war.

Long and bitter did they battle though her children were new to the world they sought to defend. Despite their relative youth, the young gods were creative in their war-waging. They learned what made their enemies recoil, what made them angry, and what made them fear. They built fortifications and defenses. They splintered pieces of themselves apart to create footsoldiers, legions, and armies. They committed themselves to the cause beyond Y'nara's wildest hope and greatest fear, but even then, it was not enough.

On the slopes of the the mountain called Basolc, the twin brothers of time fought the [VOID NAME] for supremacy of the west. Long and bitter did they struggle until, ss the dying rays of the setting sun gilded the mountain peaks and drew shadows from the valleys, the [VOID NAME] at last laid low the son of endings and began to feast on his remains. The world and its gods learned horror in that moment as they beheld the fate of their beloved son and brother. Yet, no sooner had the gods begun to rage and grieve in earnest than did the [VOID NAME] spit the god called Nimagos from its terrible maw.

Amid the cries of joy and wonder from his mother and sisters at Nimagos's strange stroke of fortune, the first seed of distrust was planted in the mind of Ardün.

With the near destruction of her son fresh in her thoughts, Y'nara resolved to end this war before another tragedy came calling for one of her children. When the sun rose on the day following her son's almost erasure from existence, Y'nara went out to meet the [VOID NAME] alone. She stood silent but mighty before the creatures her children had decided to call Ithilax, Naraxes, and Tharamok, if only so they had a name for the things they hunted and that hunted them in turn.               Together with her beloved children, Y’nara engaged the [NAME] Triumvirate in a holy battle that nearly rent the world asunder. Long and bitter did they struggle with the youngest, Nimagos, suffering a grievous wound that he sought to hide from his siblings, until at last, Y’nara saw what must be done. Blessing each of her children in turn and telling her eldest to watch over and protect the rest, she carved a vast vault into the core of the world and dragged the eldritch entities into an eternal slumber with her. Distraught by their mother’s sacrifice yet loath to see it go to waste, the children of the Titan pooled their vast powers and sealed the Vault behind her.
