Weapon Overhaul
The prior weapon categories were Medium Handgun, Heavy Handgun, Very Heavy Handgun, SMG, Heavy SMG, Shotgun, Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Grenade Launcher, and Rocket Launcher.
The new weapon categories are Medium Handgun, Heavy Handgun, Very Heavy Handgun, SMG, Heavy SMG, Shotgun, Assault Rifle, Designated Marksman Rifle, Light Machine Gun, Heavy Machine Gun, Sniper Rifle, Grenade Launcher, and Rocket Launcher. Some of the weapons in these categories were designed to be used in emplacements or on vehicles, and require great strength to carry and use without.
To explain these changes, there are players who prefer Designated Marksmen Rifles (DMR). These weapons are already popular in civilian and military use today- and makes sense that they would still be used in the future. Especially due to their efficiency with ammunition. These weapons will still do 5d6 like the AR, though will not be able to use autofire. Instead they have a passive ability which makes aimed shots a -6 to the attack check rather than a -8.
