Decades after the Chernobyl disaster of 1986, the pink-eyed elves become public knowledge.

Though it was long suspected that the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone contained life beyond the animals that live there, nine years post-broadcast the pink-eyed irradiated elves that live there finally revealed themselves to visitors, making themselves known to the public for the first time.
