A retrofitted BCV of the New Republic of Shanti Navy, operated by Sakiko Harper's experimental R&D division.

The Ouroboros is a Flight II standard-pattern Mythos-class battlecarrier of the contemporary NRSN, extensively modified for the purposes of serving as a testbed for various bleeding edge technologies developed either in collaboration with Shanti's newfound allies and trade partners or otherwise descended from the technology of other polities. Currently host to a squadron of 16 experimental Dragonfly jump fighters, organised into 4 flights.

Spacious hangar bay adapted for fighter operations, originally designed to fit 2 corvettes in the base F-II design

4 large fabricators in the hangar space, backed by multiple research laboratories and engineering workshops

8 external docking hardpoints, armoured up but simplified from the parasitic FTL variant in the base F-II design

4 fighter-scale Chari soliton near-c launchers in place of 4 of the docking hardpoints in the base F-II design

16 Dragonfly jump fighters, backed by ample support personnel and several spare airframes

High survivablity in all aspects

Adequately armed for its weight class, with high 'alpha damage'

Powerful sensor suite designed for cutting through electronic warfare

Secondary armament requires sophisticated ammunition and carries few reloads

Low speed and sluggish maneuverability for its weight class

Extremely poor concealment for any weight class

Critical systems rely on a steady supply of Stellarite and its derivatives to operate at full capacity
