Mastiffs are impressive hounds prized by humanoids for their loyalty and keen senses. Mastiffs can be trained as guard dogs, hunting dogs, and war dogs. Halflings and other Small humanoids ride them as mounts.

  At level 8 your mastiff gains 10 hp as a minor role and 20 as a major role. In addition, your mastiff gains the ability to comfort a character Lowering their stress by one upon taking a long rest.

You always have your best friend by your side. Knowing for one that you'll never be alone is quite a boon in such harsh world. Wether it's tracking down your foes, alerting you of danger og charging into battle beside you, you can always count on your lil doggy. And Druid, I have seen you talking him when you think I'm not looking. He can understand me just as well as he can understand you and I don't wanna hear otherwise!
