3. Session, The Strands of Fate

Our Heroes have joined up with the ranks of migrating villagers from the Village of Borovia. After having discussed it with Ismark and Donavich, it is decided that they will take a shortcut to Vallaki, to warn them of the arrival of the immigrants. The only problem however, is that this shortcut takes them straight through a Vistani camp. On the way to this camp, our Heroes discover a strange corpse that looks exactly like one of them but only to that person. This is not the first time it has happened. Then they meet the Dimitri's and send them back to the other immigrating villagers. Additionally, they murder a crow, just to be safe. They arrive at the Vistani camp and find them a surprisingly welcome bunch. After having drunk, eaten and partied, they all get their fortunes read by Madam Eva, which is said to be very powerful. The answers they get are cryptic at best, but at least they have some clues as to where to start in their endeavour to eliminate Count Strahd. The next day our Heroes meet two prominent Vestani Figures, Magwa sells magic items, and Valeska gives each of them a magic temporary tattoo. After this they head off to Vallaki.
