Skyblind Vale
Geography
The Vale is an Artesian basin which dominates most of the southwestern edge of the continent. Its flat, gently sloping terrain is home to the only forest on the continent of Cultivo, Brumebonnet Bosk. The Bosk stretches from the edges of the Vale to the center, growing even beneath the clear water of the Artesian Aquifer which acts the sole Lake on Orden. The forest floor is soft and mossy due to the abundant rainfall and saturation from the aquifer. Small stone outcroppings jut up here and there.
The lake in the center of the Vale is crystal clear, constantly purified by the Cloudcap Sequoia which grow without issue, even in its deepest.
Fauna & Flora
The forest is home to hundreds of species of insect, bird, amphibian, and small mammal that can't be found elsewhere on Orden and a few that can't be found elsewhere on Cultivo.
Of particular note are the Cloudcap Sequoia which can only grow in the Bosk. These trees have sensitive leaves which wither in direct sunlight, instead, special veins within the wood draw water up from the saturated ground and emit it from the canopy as clouds, which cling to the trees and weaken the sunlight.
Natural Resources
The wood of the Cloudcap Sequoia is highly valuable, as only a dozen or so are allowed to be cut down every year. In addition, the water from the lake is prized for its natural purity and is said to have holistic healing properties.
