The Blackest Shadow "Shaadah" (Shah-dah)
The malevolent deity known as the Blackest Shadow, Shaadah, is the personification of darkness and the originator of negative emotions such as hatred, envy, and revenge. This deity is not bound by loyalty to other malevolent entities and ultimately aims to destroy everything that exists, both in the physical realm and in the divine plane. Those who worship Shaadah are aware that they too will ultimately be consumed by the deity, but they hope to achieve some sort of personal goal, often motivated by revenge or destruction, before their own damnation.
Shaadah is typically depicted as a shadowy figure draped in a black cloak. Those who venerate this deity often do so in small, isolated groups, and are driven by a desire to fulfill their own selfish, malicious objectives that would please the Blackest Shadow.
Some key characteristics of the faith associated with Shaadah include:
- A tendency to grant wishes related to revenge or other seemingly impossible desires
- The belief that those who worship Shaadah are doomed to eternal damnation
- A rarity of physical appearances by the deity
- The goal of complete destruction of all things
- The rejection of Shaadah by all other deities
- The alleged killing of two of the three Dead Gods by Shaadah.
